The A34 Comet medium tank was a development of the successful Cromwell, designed to take on the dangerous German ‘big cats’ in direct combat. Entering frontline service in late 1944, and extensively used in Korea, it proved a capable and versatile machine.
With its low silhouette, thick armour, and powerful 77mm High Velocity main gun, the Comet is a fantastic choice for a late-war British Armoured Platoon, giving you the power to deal with enemy tanks and infantry alike. Equally capable in attack or defence, it’s the perfect core to anchor your army around – and if you bring two or even three, enemies beware!
 
This vehicle can also be used in games of Achtung Panzer!, the game of close-quarters tank-on-tank combat, where it gives British forces a great late-war punch. Full rules can be found in the Achtung Panzer! rulebook.
