The Laffly 80 AM is better known as the Laffly AMD 80. It was active as an armored reconnaissance car, of which the first were produced around 1933. Only around 25-30 were ever produced before the Panhard `78 took over its role.
 
It was around 5.5 meters long and 2.2 meters wide, with a single engine providing 80 horsepower.
 
It was armed with the 13.2 mm Hotchkiss model 1929 and the 7.5 mm Chatellerault MAC31.
